One of the best sellers in the pick up segment and already with eight generations, the famous Toyota Hilux has now been revamped.
Aesthetically, Hilux received a new grille with 3D effect, a redesigned front bumper, redesigned LED headlamps and taillights and even new 18” wheels.
Inside we find a new infotainment system with an 8” screen (compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay).
In addition, equipment such as automatic air conditioning and even a JBL sound system with nine speakers and 800W are also available.
New engine is the big news
If aesthetically little seems to have changed, under the bonnet lies the main innovation of the renewed Toyota Hilux: a new Diesel engine.

With a capacity of 2.8 l, this engine produces 204 hp and 500 Nm and comes with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
In terms of performance, this engine allows Hilux to meet 0 to 100 km/h in 10s (2.8s less than the 2.4 engine), with consumption and emissions remaining at 7.8 l/ 100 km and 204 g/km (correlated NEDC values).
When does it arrive and how much will it cost?
As Toyota advances, the renewed Hilux should reach Western European markets in October. For now, its price in Portugal remains unknown.
The Invincible variant is now at the top of the Toyota Hilux range. With a greater offer of equipment and an (even) more robust look, this version aims to combine leisure and work use.
