Apparently, Fiat is considering having more Abarth models in its portfolio… After the 500 and Punto, the next «victim» will most likely be the versatile Fiat Panda.
“We are open to all opportunities. It has to be a small car, compact, sporty and definitely Italian in design because of the finish. But it also has to be a product that is consistent with our DNA. We are open to discussing these kinds of things internally. This type of discussion is constantly at the heart of our team“, said the president of Abarth, Marco Magnanini.
That said, it remains for us to conclude that Marco Magnanini is clearly referring to the Fiat Panda to be the next Abarth model, as of all the current models of the Italian brand, only this one fits this «ambitious» and risky vision.
Magnanini also stated that there is a great desire to create an exclusively Abarth model, a desire that is still far from being realized as the financial situation of the Italian brand is not in its best days.
