The best and worst of the Nürburgring in 2012

Anonim

Compilation of some of the best moments captured on the Nürburgring circuit during 2012.

The Nürburgring is surely one of the most charismatic circuits in the world. Situated in the city of Nürburg, Germany, the Nürburgring is both a captivating and a frightening circuit. Even the most gifted riders respect and fear the challenges of the 22km or so of uneven asphalt, cheerfully ornamented by 154 curves and 300 meter gaps. At the Nürburgring nothing is guaranteed, either a radiant sun might be hitting the asphalt or 10 km further on it might be raining in torrents. This is the Nürburgring!

In addition to these distinct characteristics, its entire surroundings are composed of trees and shrubs. Combination that earned him the nickname “Green Inferno”. A nickname given by Jackie Stewart, three-time Formula 1 world champion, in the 60s when he was confronted with the pitfalls of the Nürburgring at over 250km/h in an F1 car.

More than enough condiments to compile in practice, the "traps" and unique moments, that Inferno Verde has placed to the brave conductors who challenged it during 2012. We hope you like it:
