The Geneva Motor Show is just around the corner and the first images of the premieres that will take place at this prestigious automobile event are starting to appear. Renault is one of the protagonists and this Renault Scénic XMOD is a bet of the French brand on the more radical aspect of small people carriers. More than an aesthetic touch-up and a robust appearance, this Renault Scénic XMOD is not only looks, but also is.

It is far from being an all terrain, but Renault has introduced aesthetic and technological details in this new Renault Scénic XMOD, which in addition to giving it a more radical image, give it scope for small adventures on less civilized floors. The greater height to the ground and protections along the chassis, invite you to take risks along paths that are not worthy of this segment. The debut of this crossover minivan is the Grip Xtend system, which aims to combat traction losses on the most difficult surfaces – snow, sand and mud.
This system simulates the action of a gearbox system and works together with the traction control and braking system. The system has 3 modes and its activation should depend on the driver's abilities - normal, slippery and expert, the latter being the least invasive, with the system only assisting in braking and acceleration is the responsibility of the driver, unlike the intermediate mode (slippery floor).
Compared to the previous Scénic, the trunk has grown 33 liters to 555. The seats are removable and fully foldable, a strong point that adds to the versatility of this Renault Scénic XMOD. The Renault symbol also appears renewed in line with the brand's new models, this Renault Scénic XMOD will appear in Geneva accompanied by its older brother, the new Grand Scénic, another debut at this Motor Show.
