After Renault in Cacia, Autoeuropa and PSA in Mangualde, Mitsubishi Fuso at Tramagal is also preparing to resume production.
According to Lusa, the manufacturing unit should resume production on May 4th.
In case you don't remember, production of the Mitsubishi Fuso at Tramagal was suspended on 23 March. Since then, on April 1st, the approximately 400 workers have been placed on lay-off.
Now, the plant in which 11 036 vehicles were produced in 2019 is getting ready to resume production in yet another positive sign of recovery in the automotive industry.
Speaking to Lusa, a head of the Mitsubishi Fuso plant said: "We will resume normal production on May 4th and we are working on safety measures to be implemented to ensure the protection of the health of all workers."
