Mopar (joining the words Motor Parts) celebrates its 80th anniversary. What started out as the sale of anti-freeze products has evolved and grown into one of the main divisions of FCA today. It encompasses a series of after-sales services, personalization accessories and the sale of original parts.After the acquisition of Chrysler by Fiat in 2009, Mopar also started to provide services, parts and accessories for the Italian brands Abarth, Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Maserati.
Nowadays it is mostly known for the customizations and accessories it makes available for Jeep models (highlight image) or the performance boosts of Dodge muscle cars.
It's been 80 years and we already know that when it comes to celebrations, customers are usually the main beneficiaries. With Mopar it will be no different. The brand decided to carry out a draw in which the final prize is a car. Expectations are high: will it be a Jeep Wrangler ready to climb Everest or a Dodge Challenger with a roar that can wake any seismograph?

Yes, we regret the disappointing of expectations. The winner of the draw will be awarded a Fiat 500. No, it is not an Abarth 500 with Mopar accessories. It's even the most accessible of all, the 1.2 with 69 Pop Star horses in the image below. Don't get us wrong. We have nothing against the Fiat 500. But when it comes to Mopar, let's say that the level of expectations would be different.

The “bad” news doesn't stop there, as this contest is limited to the UK. Participants only have to take their Fiat vehicle to any authorized dealer for services or repairs paid for by them. Afterwards, they only have to provide their invoice number and identify themselves to be candidates for the Fiat 500.
