The boys from Skoda seem to be out of their minds for the paparazzi, after all, in just over a week, two videos that show the next generation of the Skoda Octavia with almost no camouflage have gone to Youtube.
On the past 11th, the prototype that used to travel on Czech roads was black and only had some stickers hiding the headlights and taillights – a practice that is starting to become very common in the Volkswagen Group. Eight days later, another prototype of the third generation of the Octavia reappears, but this time in grey. This is perhaps a marketing ploy by Skoda to gradually spread the new Octavia around the world online, or they are not really worried about this situation.
The new Skoda Octavia will also share with the new Audi A3, Seat Leon and Volkswagen Golf the famous MQB platform, which means that despite seeing its size increase it will be lighter than the previous generation. Regarding its interiors, everything remains in the secrets of the gods, as for the engines, there are some rumors that the new Octavia will be inspired by the options available for the Audi A3 and Volkswagen Golf.
Skoda has already confirmed that it will unveil, in November, the third generation of the Octavia, however, it will only be in March that it will make its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Until then, we can only wait for more “unofficial” news…
