At a time when Italdesign is focusing its efforts on marketing “its” Nissan GT-R50, whose production is already reduced to just 50 units, another super sports car, even more exclusive and also born from the drawing boards of the house founded by Giorgetto Giugiaro and Aldo Mantonavi, is available: o Italdesign Zerouno.
The first product of the now called Automobili Speciali Italdesign, currently in the hands of the Volkswagen Group, Italdesign Zerouno was made known for the first time at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Along with the guarantee that it would only be manufactured five units!
Sharing, with references such as the Audi R8 or the Lamborghini Huracán, a large part of the components — this is the case, for example, of the V10 5.2 l with 610 hp and 560 Nm, coupled to a dual-clutch automatic transmission and seven speeds, and to a full transmission — the first of these Zerouno has just gone on sale through a Belgian stand called Iconiccars.
Price? High…
With no fixed or known price, the fact that each of the five Italdesign Zerouno units have, when leaving the factory, had an acquisition value of around 1.9 million euros, makes, however, fear the worst.
As a reference, the asking price for this Italdesign Zerouno with chassis number 1 will guaranteed, not just once, but two or three, surpass the approximately 900,000 euros that Italdesign and Nissan promise to ask for each of the 50 unit of the GT-R50!…
