As part of FCA Heritage's “Reloaded by Creators” program, which aims to buy some classic models of the group's brands to restore them and then sell both the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione like the 8C Spider that we talked to you about today or the restoration phase they needed.
This is because both have one thing in common: they never had an owner. Because since they left the production line until today, both copies that FCA has now for sale have always been its property — the 8C Competizione saw the light of day in 2007, while the 8C Spider is from 2010.
For this reason, it is not surprising the immaculate state in which both are present, without any type of wear or marks from the passage of time and a very low mileage, in particular the 8C Spider, which covered only about 2750 km over the his nine years of life.
The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione and 8C Spider
With a production limited to 500 copies each, both the 8C Competizione and the 8C Spider were developed based on a carbon fiber bodywork and a chassis that derives from the one used by the Maserati GranTurismo.

Animating the 8C Competizione and the 8C Spider we found a V8 at 90º with 4.7 l, naturally aspirated, derived from the one used by the Maserati GranTurismo S (which in turn originated in a Ferrari block). After a few “touches” by Alfa Romeo, it started to deliver 450 hp and 470 Nm of torque.

These values allow the pair 8C Competizione and 8C Spider to reach 100 km/h in less than 4.5s and a maximum speed of 295 km/h (290 km/h in the case of the 8C Spider). Passing power to the rear wheels is a six-speed semi-automatic gearbox.
As for prices, FCA Heritage has not disclosed how much it asks for the two copies.
