Launched in 2017, still under the umbrella of GM, the second (and current) generation of Opel Insignia has now been the subject of a very discreet update.

Aesthetically, finding the differences between the "new" Insignia and the pre-restyling version is a task for "Where's Wally?" they are so discreet. The big highlights are the new grille (which has grown) and the redesigned front bumper and headlights.

Speaking of headlamps, all versions of the Insignia now feature LED headlamps, and at the top of Opel's “flagship” lighting offer comes the IntelliLux LED Pixel system, which has a total of 168 LED elements ( 84 in each headlamp) instead of the previous 32.

At the rear, the changes are practically imperceptible, summing up to a discreet redesign of the bumper.

As for the interior, although Opel has not released any images, the German brand has confirmed that there we will find a renewed graphics of the navigation system (as well as the instrument panel) and also an induction cell phone charging system.

Opel also took advantage of this slight renovation of the Insignia to reinforce the offer in terms of assistance systems and driving assistance.

Therefore, the Opel Insignia now has a new digital rear camera and can even be equipped with perpendicular traffic alert.
