Whoever comes in last is a bad egg. This is what we can say about the challenge launched by “Mad Mike” Whiddett, Formula Drift champion in Japan, to Eduard Nikolaev, winner of the Dakar 2019 (trucks).
In this case, the last person to arrive at the Goodwood Festival of Speed ball will have to wear a red bow of dimensions… XXL. And it turns out to be an excuse for a few minutes of pure action on wheels, with two totally different machines battling it out to get first and to get the last available parking space.
On one side, the Lamborghini Huracán transformed to drift from “Mad Mike”, on the other, the 1000 hp and 10 000 kg of Kamaz, Nikolaev's truck for the Dakar. What follows are minutes of high action and burnt rubber:
