Clube Escape Livre adopts wolf on the 5th Adventure Dacia 4x2 ride

Clube Escape Livre has a new mascot. Lobito is the name of the wolf that the Club adopted at the Iberian Wolf Recovery Center, in Gradil, Mafra.

During the 5th Dacia 4×2 Adventure tour, Clube Escape Livre decided to help the center that hosts 16 specimens of the endangered species in the Iberian Peninsula, which will no longer be able to return to freedom, and decided to adopt Lobito. The flesh-and-blood mascot was born in May 2010 and was collected by the Iberian Wolf Recovery Center (CRLI) after a situation of illegal captivity.

In the space, visited by the participants of Aventura Dacia, Luís Celínio, president of the Club, received the adoption certificate and the “lobography” of his godson and other documentation.

According to Luís Celínio:

All opportunities are good to leave a positive impression in the places where Clube Escape Livre passes through. This time we chose the Center and appealed to the participants to also leave their contribution, to which they responded immediately, calling the value-added number. We were very pleased with this action.

Do you want to support CRLI? In addition to the annual or lifetime adoption, it is possible to help the Iberian Wolf Recovery Center through donations, visits and/or volunteering.
