Dacia Lodgy Stepway: seven adventurous seats for €19,080

Dacia Lodgy's arguments are repeated in this Stepway version. 1.5 dCi engine with 110hp, lots of interior space and an attractive price. All this adds up now with an adventurous image.

Tradition says that they are not accessible and that they tend to have a somewhat conservative image… But now a proposal that reverses this trend has arrived on the market. A minivan with seven individual seats, which costs as much as a city compact and even inherits an SUV-style adventure image. Lodgy Stepway is another Dacia model that promises to shake the market.

According to the brand, the best habitability/economy/price ratio on the market is joined by exceptional habitability, a good level of equipment and the economical and proven 1.5 dCi engine. With 110 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque, it claims consumption of 4.4l/100km (116g/km of CO2) in a mixed cycle.

Compared to the original version, the new Dacia Lodgy Stepway is a much less conservative car. The front and rear lower protections give it an adventurous look. Also on the outside, there are side shields in black plastic, roof bars and rear-view mirrors in grey, fog lamps with frame, specific 16-inch alloy wheels and the Stepway signature on the front doors.

Inside, the Lodgy Stepway is distinguished by specific seats and the insertion of the blue metal color in various details, such as pressure gauges, steering wheel and center console. Sold at a price of €19,080 – €400 more than the Prestige version – the Dacia Lodgy Stepway thus asserts itself for its more modern and daring style, while preserving the original concept: a monocab with comfort and space for seven passengers.

The level of equipment does not compromise the level of comfort and safety either. A multimedia system with a 7-inch touchscreen, including navigation, radio, connectivity and Bluetooth® cordless telephone; speed regulator/limiter; rear parking aid; Continental ABS system (Mark100), with electronic brake splitter (EBV) and emergency brake assistance (EBA); and trajectory control system (ESC) are standard equipment. The new Dacia Lodgy Stepway benefits from a warranty of 3 years or 100,000 km.
