BMW X5 2014 caught off guard

As many of you already know, BMW is preparing the third generation of the X5 and how can you calculate the paparazzi are paying attention to the new weapon of the German brand for the SUV segment.

It's not the first time that the new X5 (codename F15) has been caught by the most daring cameras, only this time what caught the attention of many blogs (including ours) was its reduced camouflage. Reduced as you say, but what is certain is that up to date these are the photos that show us more details of the new X5.

Of course BMW wants to offer this third generation a more updated look with lighter and more elegant lines, something that shows a little in the images we are seeing in this article. But the changes are not limited to the design, the engines want to be more efficient and the most advanced technology.

Weight reduction is one of the best ways to achieve the desired efficiency, preserving or even improving your performance. On powertrains a variety of turbo engines are expected, including the inline six-cylinder block and some V8 units. There is still talk of a four-cylinder, but without much certainty.

This X5 will be unveiled in 2013 but will only be released a year later, so details and specs are still on the table. It's wait and see…
