Lancia Delta HF Evo 2 'Edizione Finale' sold for over 250,000 euros at auction

The Lancia Delta HF Integrale is special, if not the most successful rally car of all time. But as if that weren't enough, it gave rise to even more striking variants and editions. One of the most valuable is based on the HF Evo 2 and was launched exclusively in Japan.

The Lancia Delta HF Evo 2 ‘Edizione Finale’, of which only 250 were built (all in 1995), was a kind of tribute from the Italian brand to its Japanese enthusiasts, a market where the Delta Integrale was very popular.

It was precisely the Lancia importer in Japan who drew up the specification list for this version, which featured an Eibach suspension, 16” Speedline wheels, several carbon fiber details, Recaro sports seats, OMP aluminum pedals and a sports steering wheel Momo

Distinguishing this limited edition version is, therefore, a relatively easy task, as all the copies have the same exterior decoration: painting in Amaranth — a darker shade of red — and three horizontal bands in blue and yellow.

“Livening up” this Delta HF Evo 2 ‘Edizione Finale’ was the same engine that we find in the other Evo versions: a supercharged 2.0 liter engine that produced 215 hp of power and 300 Nm of maximum torque, sent to all four wheels.

The copy that we bring you here is number 92 of the 250 that were produced and has just been sold at auction, by Silverstone Auctions, in the United Kingdom, for a surprising 253 821 euros.

The nature of this version is enough to justify this price. But in addition to all that, this unit — delivered in Japan and meanwhile imported to Belgium — has a very low mileage: the odometer “marks” 5338 km.
