In 27 years this Dodge Viper has covered only 55 km

After a few months ago we told you the story of a Dodge Viper with over 300 000 km that was used as an everyday car , today we bring you a copy of the American sports car that, unlike its “brother”… seems to have never circulated.

This Dodge Viper is for sale on eBay for 99 885 dollars (about 88 thousand euros), it is the hundredth unit produced and, since it came off the production line, in 1992, traveled only 34 miles (about 55 km).

According to the seller, this Viper has been kept in an air-conditioned garage since it was handed over to its first owner and recently received a change of fluids and filters.

As you would expect in a car that has been in storage for 27 years, both the interior and exterior are in immaculate condition. As if to prove the 100% original condition of this Viper, we find a stand sticker on the front window and… the original tires (although we doubt that they still fulfill their function).

This began in 1992 and lasted until 2017, with the Viper meeting three generations in that time frame.

The generation to which this unit belongs, the first, hit the market with a massive 8.0 L capacity V10 and was never known for being user friendly. But let's see: it didn't have windows, hood, air conditioning, not even handles to open the doors from the outside!

The interior remains in immaculate condition.

Over time, the Viper domesticated itself but never lost its “wilder” side. On the tracks, the American model has achieved more than 160 victories in various competitions, won 23 manufacturers' championships, 24 drivers' championships (including the 1998 GT2 championship with Pedro Lamy at the controls) running on tracks like Le Mans or Nürburgring.
