Cold Start. Drycicle: the four-wheeled bike that costs as much as a car

Anonim

If you've ever wondered what the result of crossing a quad (like the Citroën Ami) and a bicycle would be, then the Dry Cycle may well be the answer to that question.

From the quads it “inherited” the bodywork, headlights, turn signals, the windshield wipers, an OMP seat (which can be heated) and even two air heaters with 150 W of power. From the bicycles, it inherits the “thin” wheels and, of course, the pedals. As for the joysticks that are used for turning, let's assume they were inspired by the video game world.

Officially a pedal vehicle with electric assistance, the DryCycle has a 250 W electric motor that allows you to accelerate up to 25 km/h. As all vehicles of its kind it cannot operate exclusively in electric mode, so we are “obliged” to pedal if we want it to move.

After the presentations, all that remains is for us to reveal the price of DryCycle: 14 995 pounds (about 17 500 euros), a value that allows you to buy not only several quadricycles but even “real” cars, such as, for example, the “friend” of the environment” Dacia Spring Electric.
