Proposal for segment B, the Hyundai i20 received improvements in all versions: five-door, 3-door coupe and the Active crossover. Which start to show a renewed aesthetic, in addition to advanced features of connectivity and security.

In the case of the five-door i20, the highlight was the introduction of the cascading grille — Hyundai's trademark — and the possibility of incorporating a panoramic roof. Along with the i20 Active, we find a revised rear with new bumpers, lights and tailgate (from now on with built-in number plate), as well as new wheels (15' and 16”) and color options, including a bi-tone option with black roof.

In the field of technical solutions, a novelty is the availability, as an option, of the 7DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission , as well as the Idle Stop and Go system as part of the standard equipment.

In terms of engines, the already known options remain, all gasoline: 1.0 T-GDI of 100 and 120 hp, with five- and six-speed manual gearbox respectively. In addition, only and only for the five-door and Coupé versions, a 1.2 in the 75 and 84 hp variants , both with five-speed manual gearbox.

Finally, the i20 Active, also has a 1.4 of 100 hp, with a six-speed manual transmission. All engines are now ready to comply with the future Euro6d Temp standard, with the 1.0 T-GDI receiving a particulate filter accordingly.

Improved connectivity and security

Also improvements in connectivity, thanks to the availability of four different audio systems, with a 3.8″ screen, or with a new 5” monochrome screen. As new, it is also a 7” screen, part of the optional infotainment system, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but also with USB charger.
