Rolls-Royce Cullinan cabrio, coupe… pick-up? X-Tomi Design imagines the Cullinan family

Anonim

The name came from the largest diamond ever found, and despite the British brand's intended association of value and durability to the gemstone, the clearest one is obvious — in the luxury SUV universe, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is, for now, the biggest of them. That's if we discount some more exotic creatures, with minimal production numbers...

According to the brand, the creation of its first SUV is due to its customers, with requirements for such a vehicle extending over a decade. Now that the original sin has been committed, why settle for the traditional hatchback format of an SUV?

The market doesn't seem to get tired of the different flavors on the subject, with space for practically all kinds of “inventions”. Once again, X-Tomi Design is imagining a series of possibilities for expanding the Rolls-Royce Cullinan to a family of models capable of satisfying all the most varied tastes and preferences.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan
It doesn't look like it in the pictures, but it's a real giant: over 5.3 m long and 1.8 m tall

Cullinan cabrio, coupé… pick-up?

As you can see in the featured gallery, the variants range from a three-door bodywork — shooting break — to what we can call a true coupé. The convertible version looks, curiously, a lot like the Phantom Drophead Coupe, but the one that aroused the most curiosity was definitely the pick-up. Nothing says more “adventure” than a pickup truck, even one with the luxury levels of a Rolls-Royce.

If it is unlikely that we will see some of these proposals on the road, the last two proposals by X-Tomi seem to us the most far-fetched. A “sporty” Cullinan? It doesn't seem to us. Usually it's the “Bentley Boys” who care more about performance.

And we're guaranteed not to see a Rolls-Royce Cullinan “base” with black plastic bumpers, unpainted grille and iron wheels — although the wheels don't match too badly. Perhaps for a version dedicated exclusively to off-road.
