BMW M760Li xDrive: the most powerful ever

The Bavarian brand officially unveiled the BMW M760Li xDrive – the most powerful 7-Series ever – at the Geneva Motor Show.

The BMW M760Li xDrive is the hottest variant of the 7 Series which, despite being a limousine (Li) version, is the first Bavarian model in this segment to receive the initial M Performance. If you have doubts about its capabilities, be aware that the performance is “her for her” compared to the recently produced Alpina B7 xDrive.

Interestingly, BMW didn't keep its word when it came to horsepower: it added even more power, 10 hp to be precise. To recap, the BMW M760Li xDrive presented at the Helvetic event is powered by a 6.6 liter twin-turbo V12 unit, capable of delivering 610hp (contrary to the initial 600hp) and 800Nm of maximum torque available as early as 1,500rpm. These numbers allow the BMW M760Li XDrive to be an even more fleeting sprinter than predicted: 0-100km/h in just 3.7 seconds (instead of 3.9 seconds). As for the top speed, unfortunately, it is electronically limited to 250km/h.

Fuel consumption, in line with the high performance of the BMW M760Li xDrive, translates into an average of 12.6 liters per 100km with CO2 emissions of around 294g/km.

An Excellence V12 version is also available at no extra cost – which includes a chrome bar that runs the entire width of the car on top of the air intake grille, silver accents, a V12 badge on the trunk lid and exhaust outlets rectangles with additional chrome finish on the rear.
