Designed to be the ultimate statement of luxury and elegance, the BMW Gran Lusso Coupé is the result of a partnership between the Bavarian brand and the Italian house Pinifarina.
BMW has just officially unveiled the Gran Lusso Coupé, a model that will represent the brand at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. A fair where elegance, luxury and design meet in the form of four wheels.
Developed in partnership with Pinifarina, the Gran Lusso Coupé will not be continued into production. It was developed with a single purpose: to be the ultimate motorized expression of luxury, elegance and class. Looking at the images, the objective should not be far from being fulfilled.
The entire stylistic DNA of the brand is present in the Gran Lusso Coupé. Highlighting the front grille “shark nose” flanked by modern headlights with LED technology. The descending line of the roof together with the length of the bonnet conveys an idea of fluidity that is rounded off by sportier touches. This is the case with the 21-inch wheels, in keeping with the proportions of the body and the bulky tailpipes.
Inside, the ode to luxury continues. BMW chose the combination of Tobacco Brown leather and Kauri wood to cover the entire cabin. Dynamic sharpening also extends to the interior, through the presence of a sporty multi-function steering wheel.
To move the whole set, BMW made the obvious choice. There is no architecture that beats the nobility of a well-born V12 and that is why the Bavarian brand resorted to the block that equips the most exclusive versions of its 7 Series. An atmospheric V12 capable of producing 544hp of power and 750Nm of maximum torque.
