For the first time in 55 years the Mustang family will grow and the “blame” is on the Ford Mustang Mach-E , Ford's first model designed from the ground up as a 100% electric.
Scheduled for arrival in Portugal in April of next year, the Mustang Mach-E was now the protagonist of another video on our YouTube channel.
In this one, Guilherme Costa introduces you to the new Ford electric SUV in detail and despite not having been able to drive it (it was a pre-production unit) you could already feel how the newest Mustang accelerates.
Ford Mustang Mach-E numbers

The rear-wheel drive versions come with 269 hp or 294 hp depending on whether they are equipped with a 75.7 kWh or 98.8 kWh battery — torque, on the other hand, is always maintained at 430 Nm. , in the first case, it is 440 km and in the second it goes up to 610 km (WLTP cycle).
Variants with all-wheel drive can also have 269 hp or 351 hp depending on whether the battery is 75.7 kWh or 98.8 kWh, respectively. The torque is also identical in the two versions: 580 Nm. As for autonomy, with the 75.7 kWh battery this is for 400 km and with the 98.8 kWh battery it goes up to 540 km.
Finally, the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT (which arrives later, before 2021 is over) presents itself with all-wheel drive, a 98.8 kWh battery, and a more generous 487 hp and 860 Nm. With a range of 500 km, it reaches 100 km/h in just 4.4s.
The Covid-19 pandemic has forced many changes, but one thing does not change: our desire to bring you all the news in the automotive world.
My screen is bigger than yours
Inside, the biggest highlight is the 15.5” screen that doesn't hide the inspiration from Tesla. The 10.2” digital instrument panel, directly in front of the driver, is an asset that the Model Y does not offer.
As for the space, this is more than acceptable, as Guilherme tells us in the video. The trunks — yes, there are two — offer 402 liters (the rear) and 82 liters (the front), the second of which is waterproof and, like the Puma, has a drainage system.
As would be expected, the Ford Mustang Mach-E did not neglect safety, presenting itself in this way with systems such as active emergency braking, the reader of traffic signals or the autonomous parking system, among others.
How much will it cost
Scheduled for arrival in April, the Mustang Mach-E will be available in all-wheel and rear-wheel drive versions and with 75.7 kWh and 98.8 kWh batteries. As for the GT version, this one still doesn't have prices for our market.
