Lexus celebrated 10 years of the LFA with… origami

Anonim

Produced for just two years, between the end of 2010 and the end of 2012, the Lexus LFA it is one of the rarest Japanese supersports (and in the world), having left the assembly line only 500 units.

Under the hood, in the center front position, there was a V10 with “only” 4.8 l capable of developing 560 hp at 8700 rpm and 480 Nm of torque, with the redline only appearing around 9000 rpm, being this reached in just 0 .6s (hence the iconic digital tachometer, as the analog needle couldn't keep up with the engine as it climbed).

Now, taking into account all these characteristics of the rare super sports car, the 10 years of its launch could not go unnoticed, and that is why Lexus decided to honor it by creating a version… on paper.
