However, this collection is about to dwindle, as the singer has decided to get rid of seven of his beloved cars. Thus, it will be possible to buy some of Jay Kay's cars at an auction that Silverstone Auctions will do tomorrow, November 10, at two in the afternoon.
And fans of cars and music don't have to worry, because among the cars that the lead singer of Jamiroquai has, there's something to suit all tastes and budgets. From convertibles to vans to super sports, it's just a matter of choice and the depth of the bidders' pockets.

McLaren 675 LT (2016)
The most expensive car of all that the singer will take to auction is this McLaren 675LT de 2016. It is one of 500 copies produced and has around 75,000 euros of extra McLaren Special Operations equipment.
It is painted in Chicane Gray and has a front bumper, diffuser and various carbon fiber finishes. It has a 3.8 l twin-turbo V8 that delivers 675 hp, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 330 km/h and reach 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9s. Altogether, it only has about 3218 km covered.
Value: 230 thousand to 280 thousand pounds (264 thousand to 322 thousand euros).
BMW 850 CSi (1996)
Another one of the models that Jay Kay is selling is this BMW 850 CSi . The most desirable of the Series 8 features a six-speed manual transmission coupled with a 5.5 l V12 with 380 hp and 545 Nm of torque. This is one of 138 copies of this model sold in the UK.
Over its 22 years of life, this 850 CSi has only covered around 20,500 km and has had only two owners (including Jay Kay) and the only change it has undergone is the installation of Alpina wheels.
Value: 80 thousand to 100 thousand pounds (92 thousand to 115 thousand euros).
Volvo 850R Sport Wagon (1996)
One of the “simple” cars the British musician will auction is this Volvo 850 R Sport Wagon . The car was originally sold in Japan and ended up being imported to the UK only in 2017. It has about 66,000 km on the odometer and is presented in the Dark Olive Pearl color with an interior where leather applications reign.

The only North American copy of the Jay Kay collection that will go on sale is this Ford Mustang 390GT Fastback “Bullit” . Based on the car driven by Steve McQueen in the movie “Bullit” this Mustang appears in Highland Green, exactly the same color used by the copy in the movie. Under the hood is a massive 6.4 l V8 that, as standard, offered something like 340 hp. This is associated with a manual four-speed gearbox.
In the meantime, this example underwent a complete restoration in 2008 and more recently, an engine rebuild. Completing the “Bullit” look are the American Torque Thrust wheels and Goodyear tires with white letters typical of the 60s.

Porsche 911 (991) Targa 4S (2015)
