Developed from the base of a Chevrolet Corvette C7, it set itself to be the fastest electric car in the world and the truth is that it achieved it. It was announced as capable of reaching 354 km/h (220 mph), but despite the more than 800 hp that it debits, its record was, in a first attempt, at 338 km/h.

At the end of last year, he tried again and broke his own record: 340.86 km/h (211.8 mph) . It is, at the moment, the fastest electric car approved to circulate on public roads on the planet — still a little far from the initial objective, but everything is not missing...

How does this electric reach these speeds, when the majority, even very powerful, stay for much lower values? One of the factors is that, unlike the others, the GXE does not have a single-relation box. The seven-speed manual or eight-speed automatic that fitted the Corvette C7 are available on the Genovation GXE electric.
