The most iconic Batmobile ever? maybe the 1989 Batmobile , used in the Tim Burton movie, with Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

That fascinating, dark, elongated and winged machine captured the imagination of many of us, and this documentary gives us an insight into what was behind its conception and development. And, surprise or maybe not, some of its visible parts were removed from other vehicles — we would never guess...

Look at the headlights. Behind the “mask” that rests on them are the headlights… inverted from a modest '80s Honda Civic. The circular taillights? They are from a less modest Ferrari. What about the fuel filler neck? It is the most intriguing of all, as it was taken from an AEC Routemaster, the typical London double-decker bus!
