Just a few days ago we showed spy photos of the refreshed Kia Proceed and now more family members Ceed , the five-door hatchback and the SW (van) were also picked up.
Both bodies have a camouflage identical to the Proceed, with the respective fronts and rears covered, letting you guess where the changes will occur in the aesthetic plan.
It is possible to see the front of the Ceed SW directly from the front, where we can see the new grille behind the camouflage, which shows a solution identical to the one we saw in Proceed. In other words, a more three-dimensional grid compared to the current one, which will be complemented with new bumpers.
At the rear, whether on the Ceed SW or Ceed hatchback — or even on the Proceed — despite the camouflage, there doesn't seem to be any differences, but everything points to some differences in detail, especially in terms of optics. Finally, as we saw in Proceed, you can already see the new Kia logo on the redesigned wheels of these Ceeds.

Considering the technical proximity of the Ceed family to Hyundai's i30, it is expected that when it is revealed later this year, they will bring the engines debuted by the also renewed i30.
In other words, not only the addition of mild-hybrid 48 V systems to the already known engines, namely the 1.0 T-GDI and the 1.6 CRDI; as well as the introduction of the new 160 hp 1.5 T-GDI 48 V. As with the Proceed, the more powerful Ceeds should continue to use the 1.6 T-GDI with 204 hp.

Kia Ceed SW will maintain the plug-in hybrid option (PHEV) that already exists in the range, it remains to be seen whether this will bring any new features — both in terms of the electric machine and the combustion engine — and whether this option will be expanded to the hatchback bodywork.
Interestingly, despite the captured Ceed SW being identified as PHEV — look at the paper inside in the images below — the loading door is not in its usual place, that is, on the driver's left side. Did they change the site loading port or is the test prototype caught isn't actually the Ceed SW PHEV?
The unveiling of the renovated Kia Ceed, Ceed SW and, by the way, Proceed, is expected to take place during the second half of this year, and it remains to be confirmed whether the commercial launch will take place in 2021.
