The Model S P100D and even the Model 3 Performance had already passed through our hands, but the SUV of the North American brand, the Tesla Model X.
In another video of Razão Automóvel, we can see the Diogo at the controls of this XL-sized electric SUV, giving us more insight into the Model X, here in its Long Range version, which corresponds to the previous 100D.
The number 100 corresponds to the capacity of the batteries, 100 kWh , one of, if not the highest, on the market, and allows a range that in real conditions should be around 450 km — Tesla has not yet released the Model X's range in accordance with the most demanding WLTP cycle. The "D" means it has two engines, one front and one rear, totaling 423 hp of power and ensuring four-wheel drive.
Number that provides respectful performances, capable of rivaling many sports, because despite the more than 2500 kg it accuses, reaches 100 km/h in just 4.9s and reaches 250 km/h top speed (electronically limited).
Diogo demystifies some of the hottest points of discussion when we refer to the Tesla, namely the quality of construction and materials, and explores all the potential of the huge 17″ touchscreen where the infotainment system resides — one of the best in the industry ? Maybe… Or wasn't Tesla a Silicon Valley product.
The generous dimensions of the exterior are reflected in the interior, where the Tesla Model X offers plenty of space. Here in its five-seater configuration — there is a version with seven seats — the trunk offers, without the seats being folded down, more than 1000 l of capacity , which is further complemented by a front compartment with almost 200 l — as much as the trunk of many city dwellers…
Despite the dimensions and mass, the dynamics surprise on the positive side, as well as the comfort, despite being equipped with 22″ wheels.
