Cold Start. This whiskey bottle was made with an Aston Martin DB5 piston.

Aston Martin and Bowmore joined forces and together created the Black Bowmore DB5 1964, an ultra-exclusive series of whiskey in its own right. Now it becomes more special, as the collaboration resulted in a unique bottle, which incorporates an iconic piston Aston Martin DB5.

First distilled on November 5, 1964, this whiskey has only been bottled six times, making it one of the rarest in the world. In total only 6000 bottles of Black Bowmore have been on sale since 1993. This 1964 Black Bowmore DB5 series promises to further increase the rarity factor with this very special bottle.

Handcrafted by the Glasstorm company, the bottle is composed, in part, of a real Aston Martin DB5 piston and takes a week to be produced. At the end it is delivered in an equally unique handcrafted box.

Limited to just 25 units, the Black Bowmore DB5 1964 whiskey is, according to Aston Martin, the first of several collaborative projects that the British brand and Bowmore are planning for the next time.
