There are not many doubts, Niki Lauda and Michael Schumacher they are one of the most famous and iconic drivers in Ferrari history (near them perhaps only names like Gilles Villeneuve or, more recently, Fernando Alonso). Therefore, two single-seaters piloted by them going to auction never goes unnoticed.

The first single-seater to go up for auction is the Ferrari 312T piloted by Niki Lauda and with which he won his first title in 1975. With chassis number 022, this was used in a total of five GP's (from which Lauda always started in pole position) and with him the Austrian pilot won the GP from France, finished second in Holland and third in Germany.

Equipped with a V12 engine, the 312T also had the gearbox mounted transversely (hence the “T” in its name) and in front of the rear axle. Auctioned by Gooding & Company in Pebble Beach in August, the 312T is priced at an estimated eight million dollars (about 7.1 million euros).

About the Ferrari F2002 from Michael Schumacher, this one will be auctioned by RM Sotheby's on November 30th, but unlike the 312T, this one doesn't have an estimated price. The car in question has chassis number 219 and has a loud V10.
