A company that, since 1982, has been dedicated to the restoration of classic Volkswagen Beetles, Memminger is now showing its most recent work, which the company itself, born in the 70s, as a manufacturer of steel for construction, describes how “what the modern Beetle could be”.

However, the truth is that the similarities of this Beetle, with the original model, go little beyond the external appearance. Since everything else, starting with technical issues, has been reformulated.

The chassis was lengthened, the engine now appears in a central rear position, benefiting from the cancellation of the rear seats; while, still at the rear, there were now two anti-rollover safety bosses, in addition to air intakes for cooling the engine, placed on a clearly visible rear wing, helping to glue the rear to the ground.
