Is this the BMW M2 CS we've all been waiting for?

For those who feel that the M Performance versions are not "radical" enough, BMW has the CS versions.

As an example, compared to the more "normal" M version, the BMW M4 CS delivers 460 hp of power (+30 hp) and fulfills 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds (0.4 seconds less) . In addition to adopting other modifications, focusing on dynamics – sports suspensions, weight reduction, in short… the usual recipe.

The end result is always the same. Intense sensations and chills in industrial doses, whether on the road or on a circuit (preferably on a circuit).

What will the BMW M2 CS look like?

BWM has not yet confirmed the production of the M2 CS, but it's good that they do – and yes… you can read this sentence with a menacing tone. The world needs a "hardcore" version of the M2. Why? For all the reasons and a few more. What's more, “overpower” is a concept that doesn't exist, and this generation of the M2 is predictably the last with rear-wheel drive.

Taking into account the "normal" BMW M2 (365 hp, 4.0 seconds from 0-100km/h and 262 kmh of v/max) the BMW M2 CS has everything to be a memorable machine. There are rumors that even point to the adoption of the M3/M4 engine in the M2 CS in a configuration with about 400 hp of power – not to leave the older brothers in «bad sheets». Looking at the example of the BMW M4 CS, the BMW M2 CS should have a production limited to 3,000 units.

In terms of aesthetics, a more impressive look is expected, with the front gaining larger air intakes, exclusive wheels, more prominent wheel arches and an interior with elements reminiscent of this version.
