Kia presented an authentic chameleon at SEMA. The Kia PacWest Adventure Sorento the new “green pearl” from the Korean brand.

In partnership with LGE-GTS Motorsports, Kia wanted to give a more robust and “chameleon” look to the SUV Sorento. The forest green color with which the body of the Sorento was painted, was achieved by applying several layers of paint with pearl particles, which gives the Korean SUV a hue very similar to chameleons.

The interiors follow the same lines as the exterior, including forest green dashboards and design details that are different from the usual, such as the tire tracks on the upholstery and carpets. The 8″ infotainment system was in the hands of Alpine Mobile Media. The mix of colors and details gives the Kia PacWest Adventure Sorento a more… Jurassic Park? Perhaps…

Being the Kia PacWest Adventure Sorento exclusively designed to tackle offroad terrain, the SUV of the Korean brand comes equipped with off-road suspensions, 17-inch wheels with Nitto Trail Grappler tires and a few more goodies that facilitate progression in difficult terrain.

Wanting to assume a truly off-road posture, this KIA bet on several details: tubular front bumper, mesh grille, LED auxiliary lights, roof storage and higher air intake (aka snorkel).

As for powertrains, this Kia is equipped with a V6 petrol engine. A very different engine from the one we find on sale in our country.
