Toyota Tundrasine: 8 doors at SEMA

Las Vegas saw the happy marriage between a Toyota Tundra and a limousine. From this relationship was born the Tundrasine, a crossover limousine pick-up truck.

It is on the other side of the Atlantic that one of the most daring car shows in the world takes place every year: the SEMA, in Las Vegas. A show that brings together more than 100 aftermarket manufacturers exhibitors and more than 50 modified car exhibitors – in addition to the brands that are also officially present at the fair.

This time, whoever dressed to kill (or to get married…) was Toyota, with an 8-door concept in a single file. Based on the Toyota Tundra (the biggest pick-up truck of the Japanese brand) they created the Tundrasine: a limousine that goes beyond the limits of any pick-up.

On the outside, apart from the dimensions, the appearance leaves something to be desired. But the cockpit and the rest of the cabin tell a different story as they were inspired by luxury private jets. The details are overwhelming: brown leather seats, wood trim and contrasting white stitching that give the limousine the look it deserves.

The power that drives the Tundrasine is generated by a 5.7 liter V8 engine with 381 hp that is responsible for putting in motion its 3,618 kg of weight (1037 kg more than the original Tundra). After all, don't forget: What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!
