The first “made in India” sports car now has a limited edition, with mechanical and aesthetic improvements.
The DC Avanti is an Asian model produced by DC Design, a company based in Bombay, India. With more than 20 years' experience in prototypes and concept cars, the company presented in 2012 its first production model, which now receives a limited version – more powerful, of course. In this renewed version, the 2.0 liter engine now has 310 hp of power, an improvement over the 250 hp of the original version. For a first attempt at producing a car of these characteristics, the DC Avanti is no shame.
The six-speed manual transmission can be replaced by a six-speed automatic transmission, produced by DC Design.

But it wasn't just under the hood that the changes took place. The bodywork is now more aggressive (including a new color palette), with an emphasis on the rear diffuser and spoiler, both made with light materials. The suspension has been lowered slightly, which gives it greater stability and a more fleeting appearance.
The special version of the DC Avanti will be released in April of next year and only 31 units will be produced.
