Cold Start. More than a work vehicle, a lifestyle

The second half of the 70's, in the United States of America, was a really interesting period. The Vietnam War was over, the disco sound was on and people simply wanted to express themselves in whatever way it was.

The right period for the emergence of the culture of the "custom van", that is, personalized vans or vans - so short and striking that it even gave rise to a film, albeit unanimously bad, aptly named Supervan (1977), which we leave behind some images to the sound of one of the songs from the movie: Riding High, voiced by Dave Munyon.

The weather wasn't nice for the film, but a much more recent “review” states that “this is a film that takes vans very seriously, (…) the ultimate film for van 'nerds'”. By the way, the name Supervan referred to the main star of the movie, which you can see below — futuristic, for the 70s, Vandora.
