As we told you a few months ago, the Porsche 911 Carrera S and 4S even received a seven-speed manual gearbox . This comes as part of a range update that also brought new technological and aesthetic innovations.
Available at no extra cost on the 911 Carrera S and 4S, the manual transmission is an alternative to the eight-speed PDK gearbox and allowed to save 45 kg (the weight is fixed at 1480 kg).
In terms of performance, the 911 Carrera S with manual transmission works from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2s and allows reaching a maximum speed of 308 km/h.
Standard Sport Chrono Package
Combined with the manual gearbox comes the Sport Chrono Package. With an automatic heel function, it also brings dynamic engine support, the PSM Sport mode, the steering wheel mode selector (Normal, Sport, Sport Plus, Wet and Individual), a stopwatch and Porsche Track Precision.

In addition to these equipment, the Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) system with variable torque distribution and rear differential lock and tire temperature and pressure indicator are also noteworthy.

In addition to the seven-speed manual gearbox, the model year update brought the Porsche InnoDrive system to the Porsche 911 options list.In versions with the PDK box, this assistance system extends the functions of the adaptive cruise control, optimizing speed using navigation data for the next three kilometers.
Also new is the front axle lift function. Available for all 911s, this system stores the GPS coordinates of the location where it was triggered and automatically elevates the front of the car to approximately 40 millimeters.

Already introduced with the 911 Turbo S, the 930 leather package designed to evoke the first Porsche 911 Turbo (Type 930) is now also available on the 911 Carrera.
Finally, Porsche also started offering new glass on the 911 Coupé — lighter, but soundproofed — and also the possibility for the Ambient Light Design Package to include ambient light configurable in seven colors and also the new color Pitão Verde.
