Renault Express Van and Kangoo Van: engines and prices

Anonim

Renault has made a "double bet" in the segment of light commercial vehicles and the Renault Express Van and Kangoo Van are about to reach the national market.

The first to arrive, in June, will be the Renault Express Van and its “mission” will be to replace its “Romanian cousin”, Dacia Dokker.

Kangoo Van, on the other hand, arrives in July and has proposals ahead of it as the “trio” of Stellantis (Citroën Berlingo, Peugeot Partner and Opel Combo) or the new Volkswagen Caddy.

With a volume of 3.7 m³ and a payload of up to 750 kg (in gasoline versions) and 650 kg (in diesel version), the Express Van arrives in our country with three engines: one gasoline and two Diesel.

The gasoline offer is based on 1.3 TCe of 100 hp and 200 Nm. Diesel proposals consist of 1.5 Blue dCi of 75 hp and 95 hp with 220 and 240 Nm, respectively. Common to all of them is the six-relation manual box.

Renault Express Van

Renault Express Van seeks to win over customers who are looking for a simpler and more accessible proposal.

The Renault Kangoo Van, on the other hand, makes the “Open Sesame by Renault” systems (which by giving up the B pillar, the central one, offers the widest right side access in the segment with 1446 mm) and the “Easy Inside Rack” two “flags” ”, has five engines: two gasoline and three diesel.

The petrol offer consists of the 1.3 TCe with 100 hp (and six-speed manual transmission) and the same 1.3 l, but with 130 hp and with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed EDC automatic.

The “Open Sesame by Renault” system offers the widest right side access in the segment at 1446 mm.

Among the Diesels we have three variants of the 1.5 Blue dCi with 75 hp, 95 hp or 115 hp. The two more powerful versions can be paired with a six-speed manual or seven-speed EDC automatic, while the less powerful version can only be paired with a manual gearbox.

Save on consumption and maintenance

Both Renault Express Van and Kangoo Van engines have service intervals of up to 30,000 kilometers or two years (whichever comes first).

Also thinking about the economy, the two Renault proposals have new Ecoleader versions. In the case of the Express Van, this is associated with the 1.5 Blue dCi 75, whose maximum speed is limited to 100 km/h, to guarantee a gain of 0.5 l/100 km and 12 g/km of CO2.

Renault Kangoo Van

The "family air" is notorious in the new Kangoo Van.

On the Kangoo Van we have two Ecoleader engines: the 1.3 TCe 130 and the 1.5 Blue dCi 95. Limited to 110 km/h, these versions advertise consumption of 4.9 l/100 km in Diesel and 6.1 l/100 km in the engine gasoline.

As for prices, Express Van sees prices start at 20 200 euros in the gasoline version and 20 730 euros in the diesel version. The Renault Kangoo Van will be available from €24,385 on the petrol version and €24,940 on the diesel version.
