BMW has just announced news for the new BMW 4 Series Coupé and BMW X5.

The BMW 4 Series Coupé hasn't even arrived at dealerships yet and already has some interesting news. The more modest version of this model will be designated the 420i and will come equipped with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder twin-turbo engine, ready to produce 184 hp. Nothing new so far… New is the launch of two new six-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engines for the 430d and 435d versions, capable of developing 258 hp and 313 hp, respectively.

The 435d version comes exclusively with an eight-speed automatic transmission and features the all-wheel drive xDrive system as standard. All other versions offer this xDrive system as an option only.

Highlight for the xDrive25d which will be the first version of the BMW X5 to feature a four-cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive.
