ABT added a few more powders to the Audi S3 Cabriolet. Enough to keep the same number of horses as the Audi RS3.
With the New York Salon ever closer, the main news for the New York fair continues to be known. And not even the preparers, such as ABT Sportsline, missed the call.
The German preparer is taking its new Audi S3 Cabriolet to the «city that never sleeps». Similar to what it had already done with the Limousine variant, the ABT didn't make any move and reached the level of 400 hp (+90 hp), extracted from the same TFSI engine, and 500 Nm (+100 Nm) of maximum torque.
The improvements in the technical sheet are mainly due to the sports exhaust system and small tweaks in the ECU. And according to ABT, dynamics have not been compromised either, thanks to anti-roll bars on both axes.

Anyone who wants to can opt for an intermediate power level (370 hp and 480 Nm), but it is at the highest power level that the Audi S3 Cabriolet expresses itself best: 4.6 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h – half a second more than the new Audi RS 3 – and 265 km/h top speed.
In terms of aesthetics, the differences compared to the series model are limited to wheels from 18 to 20 inches and ABT inscriptions on the interior. The New York Hall starts this Friday and ends on the 23rd of April.
