Jeep Gladiator for Europe with V6 Diesel

Between the 12th and 14th of July, San Martino di Castrozza, in Italy, will host not only this year's Camp Jeep (a sort of Moab Easter Jeep Safari for Europeans) but also the European premiere of the latest novelty by the North brand. American from the FCA Group, the pick-up gladiator.

Now on sale in the United States of America, Gladiator makes its first appearance on European soil at the same time that its commercialization in the Old Continent is confirmed.

If in the US the Gladiator is sold with the 3.6 V6 Pentastar petrol, in Europe it will also be available with a V6, but in diesel. So, around here the North American pick-up will come with a 3.0 l EcoDiesel with approximately 260 hp and 600 Nm of torque associated with an eight-speed automatic transmission and equipped with Stop&Start as standard.

Although Gladiator has confirmed its arrival in Europe, Jeep has not yet announced an exact date for the arrival of its pick-up, just pointing out that it will be available in the European market by the end of next year. As for prices, the question remains.

The Gladiator can be equipped with a 7.0” or 8.4” touchscreen.

According to Jeep, Gladiator will be available in three equipment levels: Sport, Overland and Rubicon. The first two feature the Command-Trac 4×4 all-wheel drive system with transfer case. Gladiator Rubicon, on the other hand, has the Rock-Trac 4×4 system, Dana 44 differentials with Tru-Lok lock and 32″ all-terrain tires.
