Currently proposed, in its most powerful version, with 300 hp, the SEAT Leon ST Cupra may have, as of next year, a version with even more firepower. More precisely, with 340 hp of power, taken from the same four-cylinder turbo that equips the current SEAT Leon ST Cupra.
Confirmation of this intention was given by SEAT's own sales and marketing manager, Wayne Griffith, who, in statements to the British Auto Express, even assumed that at that time he was driving the prototype that will serve as the basis for the future van — with increased power and equipped with ABT exhaust system. Painted entirely in black and with some copper accents, the new and more powerful Seat Leon Cupra also has 20-inch wheels, an improved sound system and a few more interior changes.

For Griffith, there is effectively today, a market for "attractive and fast cars". Which is why, despite the existing van is still a prototype, the engineers are already showing their satisfaction with the changes made, and are already considering ways to move towards a series production model, reveals the same interlocutor.
