What has changed in this Ranger Raptor?

For starters, the Ford Ranger Raptor competition doesn't use the chassis of the production version that Guilherme put to the test. Instead, it rests on a base made from scratch that allowed the motor to be positioned backwards, placing it in a central position.

As for suspensions, Ranger Raptor has an independent four-wheel suspension (the production version has a rigid rear axle at the rear). With two BOS shock absorbers per wheel, Ranger Raptor has a suspension travel of about 28 cm.

Finally, the braking system features six-piston calipers at the front and rear (here the calipers are water-cooled). According to the Ford Castrol Cross Country Team, the plan is to have three of these Ford Ranger Raptor in competition mid-year.
