Although in recent years it has dedicated itself mostly to the production of SUVs, Mitsubishi has in Lancer Evolution one of its greatest icons and the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO “Final Edition” it represents precisely the “swan song” of a model that, throughout its various generations, has made many rally fans dream.

Limited to just 3100 units, the Lancer EVO “Final Edition” saw 350 of them go to Canada. It is precisely in this peaceful country located in the north of the USA that the specimen we are talking about can be found today.

Furthermore, this is the last copy of the 350 “Final Edition” destined for Canada and is practically new, having covered only 99 kilometers since 2015!

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition

Offered for sale by Baywest Mitsubishi, located in the city of Ontario, this copy was protected from the harsh winters of that country, having even been stored inside the stand in a heated room.

Given its rarity and taking into account that it is, in practice, a new car, the 147 899 Canadian dollars requested for it (about 100,000 euros) end up seeming “affordable”. After all, lately we've seen some Toyota Supra A80s with far more kilometers (and far fewer rare ones) being sold for higher prices.

The Mitsubishi Lancer EVO “Final Edition”

Visually the Lancer EVO “Final Edition” had the “mandatory” differences compared to its brothers. Thus, the black roof, the various logos and the BBS wheels stand out. Already the larger air intakes, the huge rear wing and Brembo brakes with red calipers, these were "brand image" of the Lancer Evolution X.

Once inside, the differences are even fewer, limited to red stitching and, of course, the numbered plate of the produced copies, which proves the rarity of the car we are talking about today.

The interior is immaculate, as is the exterior.

Finally, under the hood of the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO “Final Edition”, despite the 2.0 l turbo being the same that equipped the other Lancer Evolution, this one saw the power rise a little. Therefore, instead of offering the usual 295 hp and 407 Nm, it now debits 307 hp and 414 Nm, which are sent to the four wheels through a manual gearbox with five relations.
