Today is celebration day in Zuffenhausen. The German brand's production unit sees a million units of the Porsche 911 coming out of its assembly lines. The iconic sports car, continuously produced since 1963, over six generations, remains an unavoidable reference among sports cars.
The 1,000,000 unit is a 911 Carrera S with a special color – Irish Green – and brings several unique features alluding to the first 911 and reaching this historic landmark.
For those interested, it's best to cool off – this unit is not available for sale. The Porsche 911 one million will go to the brand's official museum. But before that, this special model will travel around the world, which include road trips through the Scottish Highlands, a mandatory visit to the Nürburgring circuit, and passages through the USA and China, among others.

The Porsche 911 not only established a new category, it managed to stay at the top of it, thanks to its continuous evolution. Despite its success, it remains an exclusive model and is increasingly coveted by collectors.
According to the German brand, 70% of the Porsche 911 produced to date are still capable of being driven.
