In an automobile war that is sometimes confused with a clash between nations, the British respond to the Italian Ferrari 458 Speciale with the Mclaren 650S. Presentation scheduled for the Geneva Motor Show.
The British brand let slip the first images of its new model: the Mclaren 650S. With the official presentation scheduled for the Geneva Motor Show, it was in an internal presentation that the first images of the English house's latest sports car "escaped".
The Mclaren 650S presents itself as a serious rival to the Ferrari 458 Speciale. And just like the latter, which is a sportier version of the Ferrari 485 Italia, this new English model is also nothing more than a “vitaminized” version of the Mclaren 12C.
The Mclaren 650S thus appears with a more sporty chassis and suspensions, a little more power and a front end referring to the «super» Mclaren P1. The V8 3.8 Twin-Turbo that generates 625hp on 12C now generates 650hp in this update. Next year the British brand should reveal another model, the Mclaren P13. One more element that should join the English navy, in the war against sports cars of Italian origin.
