The crazy 80’s brought in the Countach, a car known for its struggle when trying to turn a corner, or for the deafening roar of the engine that was just inches away from the back of the occupants' heads. Despite all its faults, and let's face it, they are not few, the Countach has become a cult car. The Lamborghinis that were produced after the Countach were based on the Countach, in a Darwinian evolution adapted to V12’s.
The Aventador, Lamborghini's pinnacle (for a moment forgetting the ultra-exclusive Poison), is a showcase of technology: a super efficient engine capable of generating more than two hundred extra horsepower than the Countach, four-wheel drive, and probably more sensors than a NASA shuttle, all to make the driving experience as comfortable and fast as possible, trying to minimize the punishment that a less experienced driver can suffer.
We can try to be sensible and argue that both are extraordinary cars, and indeed they are, but it's impossible not to have a favourite. What's yours?
