Land Rover has announced that the Land Rover Defender Challenge will be able to participate in a competition for Defenders Challenge in the UK. It will be a Defender Challenge Rally Series with only one edition.
After decreeing the end of the Land Rover Defender as we know it today, Land Rover now offers a fan's dream, in a single edition. The Defender Challenge Rally Series will take place in the United Kingdom and will include the Land Rover Defender Challenge prepared by Bowler Motorsport. The Defender Challenge Rally Series will be regulated by the MSA (Motor Sports Association). This unique edition will feature the Land Rover Defender Challenge, prepared by Bowler Motorsport in compliance with the FIA preparation standards.Equipped to compete
Under the bonnet is a 2.2 diesel engine with 170 hp and 450 nm maximum torque, coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox. Prepared for adventures in an uncivilized environment, this engine hopes to fulfill the needs of a journey through bad roads.
This Land Rover Defender Challenge, prepared by Bowler Motorsport, offers a panoply of equipment designed for men with thick beards to play. The suspension was reinforced, roll bars were installed in the cabin and a fire extinguisher system. The Land Rover Defender Challenge is also equipped with 18-inch wheels, “lined” with Kuhmo tyres.
Enrollment
To enter the Defender Challenge Rally Series you must first purchase the Land Rover Defender Challenge for £50,000 in the UK (€59,025). Registration for the competition will be between €11805 and €16525. Not for all budgets, it will certainly delight fans with the possibility of spending such amounts to participate in this Defender Challenge Rally Series.
The Defender Challenge Rally Series will take place in the UK. The race, with a total of seven stages, will cover England, Wales and Scotland, certainly accompanied by breathtaking landscapes. At the end of the competition, Defender Challenges will be able to go home “on their own accord”, as they are legalized for circulation on public roads.
