One of the most anticipated models of recent times is the BMW M235i, spiritual successor to the BMW 1 Series M Coupé. Discover the first photos of the new sports car from the Bavarian house.
The minutes in which the future BMW M235i were subjected to the shooting of indiscreet lenses were brief but enough. But thanks to its inscription we can now “snoop around” the final look of one of the most awaited German compact sports cars: the BMW M235i.
Considered the spiritual successor to the BMW 1 Series M Coupé, the M235i is clearly the evolution of design and technical solutions from the former. But as we can see in these images, this BMW M235i has very little in common with the model with which it shares its base, the current generation of the BMW 1 Series. Inaugurating its own stylistic language.
If on the outside the design is completely new, on the inside we should expect a presentation very similar to that of the BMW 1 Series.
Like the BMW M135i, we speculate that the BMW M235i will come equipped with the same 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine capable of producing a fiery 320hp of power and a massive 450Nm of maximum torque. An acceleration from 0-100km/h under 4.9 seconds is expected, marginally beating its Serie 1 brother with the same engine.
With production scheduled to start in November, the official presentation is about to happen.
