German coach AC Schnitzer is known for its BMW-based creations and the next will have as its starting point one of the Bavarian brand's current ex-libris, the M8 Competition.
To whet your appetite, AC Schnitzer released a short video — less than a minute — where we only see the M8 Competition's dashboard and hear its twin-turbo V8 in attack mode, but what captures attention is how quickly the speedometer numbers go up.

To achieve the feat, predictably AC Schnitzer managed to extract much more from the V8 than the production model, and beyond the video, we already know how much bigger the numbers are from the twin-turbo V8.

Originally, the BMW M8 Competition comes equipped with a 4.4 V8 biturbo that delivers 625 hp and 750 Nm, with the maximum speed set at 305 km/h (if you choose the M Driver Package). After passing through the hands of AC Schnitzer, we now have more impressive ones. 720 hp and 850 Nm — 95 hp and 100 Nm more than the original!
For now, that's all we know about AC Schnitzer's new proposal, and the powerful and fast coupé should soon be revealed.
